Recognizing and Responding to Domestic Violence:
Law Enforcement Workshop

The Criminal Justice Institute is scheduling Domestic Violence Training Workshops. These trainings are being scheduled now to take place during the months of November and December.

This training includes:

  • Recognizing the Dynamics of Domestic Violence
  • Responding to the Dynamic of Domestic Violence
  • Lethality Assessment Training and Laura’s Card
  • Understanding the differences – Orders of Protection, No
    Contact Orders, Restraining Orders
  • Local, State, and National Resources

Law Enforcement Officers completing this course will earn 4 CLE hours

This training will be a chance to think about domestic violence globally. This will be challenging, participatory, interactive, and content laden and skills focused. It will be an opportunity to think through safety and accountability issues.
