Our Purpose

The purpose of the Crime Victims Assistance Association of Arkansas is to provide a unified voice for crime victims and survivors, those who provide services to them, and the people of Arkansas through victim awareness, public education and policy development, advocacy and professional development.

  1. To promote professional development for individuals and organizations who provide services to victims and survivors of crime through training, recruitment and networking.
     

  2. To provide education and advocacy for victims and survivors of crime and those who provide services to them.
     

  3. To take an active role in educating the public and public servants on victims’ issues, and thus furthering the cause of crime victims’ rights.
